Dr. V. Sridhar received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa¸ U.S.A. He obtained his PGDIE from NITIE¸ Mumbai and B.E. (Honours) from the University of Madras.

Experience:
Dr. Sridhar taught at the McClure School of Communication Systems Management at Ohio University¸ Athens¸ Ohio¸ U.S.A. and at the Kogod School of Business at American University¸ Washington¸ D.C.¸ U.S.A. Subsequently he joined the faculty of Information Technology & Systems group at the Indian Institute of Management¸ Lucknow in 1999 and served there for four years before moving to MDI. He also was a visiting scholar in the Department of Management Science and Information Systems at the University of Auckland Business School¸ Auckland¸ New Zealand. He also worked for three years at Tata Unisys Ltd.¸ Mumbai before his Ph.D.


Awards & Honors:
He was a recipient of the Best Faculty Award at the Indian Institute of Management¸ Lucknow in 2001.

Areas of Interest:
His primary research interests are in the area of telecommunication technology¸ management and policy. He also has interests in the areas of global software development¸ performance of global virtual teams¸ and issues in global electronic commerce. His teaching areas include Telecommunications for Business Management¸ Management Information Systems¸ Information Systems Analysis and Design¸ Collaborative and GroupWare Technologies¸ Network Design and Performance Analysis¸ and Information Security Management.
