Venugopal Sanjeevi is the founder Chairman of eLogistics. He is a logistics and supply chain domain expert for leading multinationals / Fortune 500 Companies. His lectures have been published as monograph by Ahmedabad Management Association.

He has been a member of Railway Consultative Committee and transport and communications committee of various chambers of commerce. He was a visiting faculty at IIM Ahmedabad for Logistics and currently teaches at Anna University and GLIM and is outside Director in Hindustan Latex Ltd. Mini Navaratna. He has been appointed as a special task force member for Industrial Development by Tamil Nadu Govt. and as Advisor to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

He has a total work experience of twenty eight years, including fifteen years as Director/CEO in Mafatlal / Satyam Group etc. and worked in diverse Industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and textiles. He was with Hindustan Lever for 12 years, engaged in many functions such as Production planning, Logistics and has been instrumental in new initiatives in areas such as systems, and logistics.

He is a gold medalist in Chemical Engineering and has done his Post Graduation in Industrial Engineering from NITIE. He has attended many executive Education programs in Europe and USA including two at Harvard University.
